The Apple iPad Air features a 9.7 inch display in a body that is only 0.3 inches thick, and only 16 ounces. It has remarkable resolution at 264ppi. The Air also has the same RAM, storage, and processor as the Mini. It easily replaces any of the previous generations of iPad, such as iPad 2, 3, or 4. The bezel (frame) of the digitizer touchscreen is slightly thinner than the other models. Although it is lighter and thinner, it is also much more fragile than previous generations, and more difficult to repair. The iPad Air Wi-Fi-only model is A1474, and the Wi-Fi-only models are A1475 and A1476. The A1474 and A1475 were released in late 2013, and the A1476 was released in early 2014.
